Virgin PTFE Rod is a compression-molded or extruded bar made from 100% virgin PTFE resin. Also known as virgin teflon rod. No fillers. No recycled content. Diameter range is 6 mm to 200 mm. Standard length is 1000 mm. Continuous operating temperature spans -200 °C to 260 °C.

Key Performance Data
- Virgin PTFE has no measurable water absorption (<0.01%). No swelling in wet environments.
- Static friction coefficient against polished steel is 0.04–0.08. No stick-slip at low speeds.
- Resistant to virtually all chemicals except molten alkali metals and elemental fluorine at elevated pressure.
- No embrittlement after 1000 h at 260 °C. Retains flexibility at -200 °C.
- Flame rating: UL 94 V‑0. Non-flammable.

Packaging & Container Loading
- Each rod wrapped in PE film → bundled by diameter → packed in 5‑ply corrugated box.
- Boxes stacked on ISPM 15 heat-treated fumigated pallet (1.1 m × 1.1 m).
- Maximum pallet gross weight: 800 kg.
- 20GP: approx. 10 pallets; 40HQ: approx. 20 pallets.
Quality Control
- Incoming inspection: virgin resin DSC melting point and moisture content verified per batch.
- In‑line monitoring: diameter measured with laser micrometer on 10% of rods every production shift. Tensile specimens pulled from 1 rod per 200 kg.
- Batch traceability: unique lot number laser-marked on each rod. Traceable to resin lot and molding date.
