Graphite Coated Fiberglass Cloth is a woven E-glass fabric with expanded graphite coated on both surfaces. This graphite coated fiberglass fabric, also sold as graphite coated glass cloth, is designed for thermal seals, expansion joints, and gaskets. Continuous operating temperature is 550 °C. Short-term peak is 650 °C. Standard thicknesses are 0.4 mm, 0.6 mm, and 0.8 mm. Standard widths are 1000 mm and 1500 mm.

Key Performance Data
- Graphite coat delivers a coefficient of friction below 0.15 against steel at 200 °C. No adhesive bonding to metal flanges after 500 hours at 500 °C.
- After 100 hours at 550 °C, tensile strength retention exceeds 80 % for the 0.4 mm variant.
- Resistant to hot water, steam, mineral acids (except HF and hot phosphoric acid), and alkalis up to 100 °C. Graphite layer restricts acid penetration.
- Non-flammable. Meets ISO 1182. Self-extinguishing, zero afterglow.
